2023 Greek Book Fair Exhibitor: Nick Trakakis

N.N. Trakakis is Senior Lecturer in philosophy at the Australian Catholic University, and also writes and translates poetry. He has translated several of Tasos Leivaditis' works, including "The Blind Man with the Lamp" (Denise Harvey Publications, 2014), "Violets for a Season" (Red Dragonfly Press, 2017), "Autumn Manuscripts" (Smokestack Books, 2020, joint winner of the New South Wales Premier's Translation Prize), and most recently "Night Visitor" (Human Side Press, 2023). Under his new imprint, Éditions Maudites, a bilingual (Greek-English) edition of Ilias Kounelas' "Like an angel who has lost their way" was released this year.
