2023 Greek Book Fair Exhibitor: Greek - Australian Cultural League

The Greek-Australian Cultural League of Melbourne (Inc.) is a non-profit organisation and has no religious or political affilia¬tions. Its aims are the advancement, support, and dissemination of the creative endeavours of Greek-Australian writers and artists whose work primarily reflects the confluence of the Greek and Australian cultures, and contributes to the enrichment of Literature, the Visual Arts, and the Performing Arts.

In pursuing its aims the Greek Australian Cultural League (GACL) initiates, organises, and participates in cultural, artistic, social, and intellectual activities and debates. It also initiates and organises an annual, bilingual Literary Competition, publishes the annual, bilingual periodical “Antipodes” holds the annual art exhibition “Antipodean Palette”, as well as book launches, lectures, talks, poetry evenings, musical recitals, the bi-annual Book Award, Kids art program, literary and art workshops, has initiated the Greek – Australian Artists’ Directory (GAAD) and Book Fairs.
