Event Details
1943: Time is running out for the occupying forces. The Germans, struggling to regain their lost strength, attempt to neutralize resistance activities in the mountains by declaring them no-go zones. However, the shepherds of Psiloritis, with no other means to feed their families, defy this danger and violate the forbidden zone, risking their lives. No one could have anticipated the devastation to come. The documentary, produced in 2023, covers the events that unfolded on September 4 and 5, 1943, at Gournolakkos in the wider area of Livadia Mylopotamos.
