Plato’s Concept of the Universe and the Position of Human Beings in It

Event Details

This special lecture will set out and defend the Fundamental Truths of Plato and the impacts of his Writings.

The event will be moderated by Angelos Charlaftis, an Independent Advisor at the European Union Institutions specialised in Deep Science Affairs.

About Dr Andrew Theophanous

Dr Andrew Theophanous served in the Australian parliament for 21 years and was also an assistant minister (Parliamentary Secretary) to Prime Minister Keating.

Dr Theophanous is well known for his work on multiculturalism in Australia.

However he is also an academic philosopher and he has written on Plato and given many lectures on Plato at universities and colleges.
